Comparing gas basin efficiency
This case explores how gas production should be compared not only by output, but by production efficiency, reserve-growth economics, and technical feasibility. We benchmark key U.S. gas basins on scale, replacement pressure, commercial performance, and monetization quality, then compare those findings with a European reference case. The analysis shows that while Ukraine is technically harder than core U.S. gas plays, stronger regional pricing can still create a materially more attractive case for capital deployment into new supply.
